Baldwin's Accountancy Services is proudly based in Hest Bank, Lancaster, but location does not have to be a barrier to working together.
We can support clients from further afield using modern accounting software and straightforward digital communication, while providing the same personal approach as we do for clients closer to the office.
Local practice, wider reach
Lancaster, Morecambe and Carnforth are our main local areas. Our office at The Old Station in Hest Bank is the base for an independent practice built around personal service.
You do not need to live nearby or visit the office regularly to work with us. We can agree a way of keeping in touch and sharing information that suits you and the work you need help with.

Straightforward communication
Telephone and email give us a straightforward way to discuss your circumstances, explain the figures and answer questions as work progresses.
Sharing information
Our secure Client Portal provides a way to exchange relevant information and documents. We'll explain what we need from you and how to provide it.
Accounting software that fits
Cloud accounting software can help us work with your records without regular office visits. We'll discuss what is appropriate for you; working with us does not mean every client must use cloud software.
A clear working arrangement
At the outset, we'll agree the support you need and how we'll work together. Distance does not need to make the relationship impersonal or difficult.
The same personal approach
Working from further afield means working with the same independent practice and the same personal approach. Digital tools help us keep in touch; the relationship is still with your accountant.
We take time to understand the person or business behind the figures and explain things in practical terms. Where you need ongoing support, we can build that into our working relationship so you know who to turn to with questions.

Depending on your circumstances, support may include annual accounts and Corporation Tax, Self Assessment, bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll, company secretarial work or Capital Gains Tax.
